The ruling was posted the next day, Wednesday, on the Facebook page of the Public Information Office of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.

The court ruled that Gadon had violated Article II of the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability, which requires lawyers to uphold the dignity and respect of the legal profession.

The court also noted that Gadon had a criminal record and was suspended for three months from practicing law for using similar offensive and outrageous language, and was warned of harsher punishment if he did it again.

The court has six other pending administrative cases against Gadon in the Attorney General’s Office and four more in the Bar Disciplinary Commission of the Philippine General Bar.

The court said that although these cases remain unresolved, the number of administrative complaints against Gadon clearly reflects his character.
